Marjorie B. Hancock, 100 of Franklin, IN passed away on Saturday February 11, 2023, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin, IN. She was born July 17, 1922, in Boone County, IN to William and Blanche (Baker) Atkins. She married the Reverend John L. Hancock; he preceded her in death on December 25, 1985. She and her husband served at Community Congregational Church (now Hurricane Community Church) from 1955 until 1968 and then in churches in Saranac, Michigan and Poland, IN.
Marjorie is survived by two daughters Leota Lange of Franklin, IN and Treva Rambow of Lapeer, MI.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. A private burial was at Hurricane Cemetery in Franklin, IN. Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN is handling the arrangements.
