Local trio invited to Top 60 workout
Three Johnson County seniors — Center Grove’s Savanna Bischoff, Indian Creek’s Abby Fleetwood and Franklin’s Kyndell Jochim — were among those invited to Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 Senior Workout, which will take place on Sunday at Beech Grove High School. Both sessions (1 to 3 p.m. and 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.) are open to the public. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students.

Baseball ends Florida trip with loss
After winning its first three games of its season-opening trip to Florida, Franklin College closed the voyage with a 15-6 loss to Calvin on Tuesday morning. Sean Thomas drove in a pair of runs for the Grizzlies (3-1).
