Helen Marie (George) Gallo of Sunrise Florida, passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 88. Helen was born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania on February 27, 1934, the daughter of William and Edna George.
Helen married Mario Gallo on August 11, 1953.
Remaining to cherish Helen’s memory are her five children, Raymond Gallo, Jack Gallo, James Gallo, Deborah (Gallo) Beckner, and Katherine (Gallo) May; 12 grandchildren: Ryan Gallo, Alana Cushman, Samantha Gallo, Crystal Gallo, Sara Gallo, Roshelle Gallo, Caleb Gallo, Danielle Beckner, Mitchell Beckner, Cameron May, Giovanni May, and Dario May; 10 great-grandchildren: Evan Gallo, Gianna Gallo, Remington Gallo, Zachary Cushman, Sara (Welbaum) Holderbaum, Tallon Beckner, Wyatt Paull, Paisley Beckner, Layla Paull, and Marshall Beckner.
Preceding Helen in death is her spouse, Mario Gallo, her parents, William and Edna George, and sister, Frances (George) Hamilton.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens of Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
To honor Helen, please come dressed in jeans and blue shirt, which was her favorite color.

Helen will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, IN.
