Bridge replacement to close Peterman Road for four months

A bridge replacement will close a portion of Peterman Road for four months starting next week.

The section of Peterman Road between Fairview Road and County Line Road will be closed for four months beginning on Monday, weather permitting. The closure is needed so construction crews can replace a bridge of Pleasant Run Creek in White River Township, according to a Johnson County Highway Department news release.

Residents who live in neighborhoods along Peterman Road will continue to have access to their homes from either Fairview Road or County Line Road. No traffic will be allowed through the construction zone, officials say.

Officials say through traffic can utilize Fairview Road, Morgantown Road and County Line Road to bypass the closure.
