Swimmer Wojack earns All-America honors
Representing Franklin College at the NCAA Division III Championships, Kosmo Wojack became the first male swimmer in school history to earn All-America recognition after placing 10th in the 200-yard butterfly with a school-record time of 1:47.08. Wojack was also 25th in the 100 fly and 26th in the 200 breaststroke, setting new school marks in both.
Also coming away with All-America honors was Kenyon College junior and Franklin native Sarah Hoffman, who was seventh in the 500 freestyle and 10th in the 1,650 free. Hoffman’s efforts helped the Owls to a third-place team finish.
Baseball celebrates walk-off win
Matt Earley’s bases-loaded sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning capped Franklin College’s 7-6 comeback win over Trine on Sunday afternoon. Tysen Lipscomb drove in a pair of runs for the Grizzlies (6-5).

Roncalli earned a pair of victories on Saturday, picking up a 25-11, 25-19, 25-18 sweep of Southport and defeating Perry Meridian in four sets, 25-22, 22-25, 25-18, 25-17. Alex Barkley had 28 kills on the day for the Royals (6-2), while Andrew Mayer added 26.
