GREENWOOD
Mary Lyons, of Greenwood, IN. died Friday, March 31. She was 74 years old. Mary was born to the late Thomas and Marcia (Sanders) Miller on May 16, 1948 in Indianapolis. After graduating high school, she went on to manage facilities until her retirement. She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Mary was a kind and loving wife, mother and friend.
Mary is survived by her husband, John Lyons; son, Gerrit Lyons; sister, Sandra Maines and brother in law Cecil Maines; sister in law, Dorla Boisse; eight nieces and eight nephews. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her brother, Thomas “Tommy” Miller and nephew, Robert “Bobby Bratcher.
A funeral service for Mary will be held Friday, April 7 at 12:30 PM at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory-Greenwood Chapel with Elder Brian Peavler officiating. Friends and family will gather Friday from 10:30 AM until time of service. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Garden Cemetery.
