Corey Jordan Ross Asher, 33, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, April 14, 2023 at his home in Franklin, IN.
He was born October 29, 1989 in Lebanon, IN, to Steven and Rose (Cowin) Asher.
He was preceded in death by his father, sister (Courtney), nephew (Brantley), an aunt and uncle, both his maternal and paternal grandparents, and a brother-in-law.
He leaves behind two children, a son (Christian, 12), a daughter (Presley, 3), both of Franklin, IN, whom he adored.
He is survived by his children; mother, Rose Asher of Indianapolis, IN; brothers, Chad Asher of Indianapolis, IN, Cody Asher of Greenwood, IN, and Chris (Heather) Asher of Edinburgh, IN; sisters, Chanda (Darrell) Crosley, Caitie (Eric) Lake, both of Shelbyville, IN, Chevon (Derek ?) Burton, Annie Asher, both of Edinburgh, IN, Chayla Asher of Indianapolis, IN, and Casey (Dana) Karr of Trafalgar, IN; 17 nieces and nephews; 2 great-nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Corey was a general manager at Taco Bell for the last several years, where he was a dedicated employee and proud of his work performance. When he wasn’t at work, he enjoyed spending his time with his children. Corey was a fan of Dragonball Z, had quite the collection of shoes, a love for basketball and watching movies, and enjoyed listening to music. Corey was a caring person, holding a strong love for others and wearing his heart on his sleeve. He was easy to love, and loved by many.
A young man gone too soon, he will be dearly missed and loved forever.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 12:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home &Simple Cremation ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 10:00am until the service hour. Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family at Miller Cemetery in Shelbyville, IN.
