This map provided by INDOT shows the location of the State Road 144 bridge over Youngs Creek which will be overlaid on or after Monday.
A state contractor plans to begin work on or after Monday on a bridge deck overlay project on State Road 144 over Youngs Creek in Johnson County.
The bridge is located between Creekside Drive and the roundabout at S.R. 44, west of Franklin, according to a traffic update from Indiana Department of Transportation.
During construction, the road will be reduced to one lane with temporary traffic signals. Work is expected to be completed by late June, weather permitting, INDOT officials say.
The contract was awarded to RAM Construction Services for $130,000 in December.
