GREENWOOD
Anna “Ann” Catherine Turner, 87, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved family on Sunday, April 30, 2023. She was born on January 16, 1936, in Indianapolis to Harry and Antoinette Benedick Pringle.
On August 22, 1953, she married the love of her life William “Bill” Turner Jr. They would have celebrated 70 years together this year.
Ann was a master pie maker. She enjoyed playing euchre, sewing, cooking, reading mystery novels, taking photos and placing them in memory albums. Everyone enjoyed receiving a letter full of joy and hope from Ann.
Ann was a member of Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.
Ann is survived by her beloved husband, William Turner, children Lawrence C. (Karen) Turner, William M. (Mary Ann) Turner III, Nancy E. (Jack) Juday, Timothy K. (Anita) Turner, Amy A. (Mike) Copeland, Teresa L. (Scott) Campbell, sisters Alma Blake, Eva Hummel, Helen Snead, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Ann’s Life Celebration? visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46227. Additional visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church, 335 S. Meridian Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM. The burial will be Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden.
