Fraud

50 Branigin Road, First Financial Bank: A man reported at 2:01 p.m. Wednesday that his debit cards were denied and that a fraudulent check had been written by someone for over $4,000.

Criminal Mischief

N. Emerson Ave. and Wilson Drive: Reported at 4:04 p.m. Wednesday that someone had spray-painted on the sidewalks from E. Main St. to County Line Road.

1400 block of Dowell St.: Reported at 7:42 a.m. Wednesday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Fraud

1900 block of Southwood St.: Reported at 12:21 p.m. Wednesday that a fraud had occurred.

Hit and Run

N. Emerson Ave. and E. County Line Road: Reported at 7:57 p.m. Wednesday a hit and run had occurred.

Personal-injury accidents

7:45 p.m. Tuesday – Blue Grass Parkway and Village Crossing. Juvenile, 11, Greenwood, reported having an abrasion to their elbow/lower arm.

2:42 p.m. Tuesday – 1999 U.S. 31 S., Central Nine parking lot. Caleb Elliott, 26, Whiteland. Elliott reported having an abrasion with injury to his elbow/lower arm.

3:53 a.m. Tuesday – Stop 18 and Profit St. Paula Wells, 45, Indianapolis. Wells reported having pain and injury to her neck. Daylon Hall Jr., 30, Indianapolis. Hall reported having pain and injury to his knee/lower leg/foot.

4:23 p.m. Monday – E. County Line Road and Graham Road. Sonack Francois, 47, Avon. Francois reported having pain and injury to her back.

Thefts

20 block of Village Crossing Drive N.: Reported at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred.

3115 Meridian Parke Drive, CosmoProf: Reported at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday the theft of three sets of hair clippers sometime on Sunday had occurred.

Burglary/Residential Entry

5800 block of W. Stones Crossing Road, Greenwood: A man reported at 7:59 p.m. Wednesday that an unknown man tried to enter his residence by the front door, but it was locked, then he entered the garage and stole bottles of water.

Trespassing

2000 block of Lake Run Drive, Greenwood: Reported at 4:28 p.m. Wednesday that criminal trespassing had occurred.

April Dawn Hakes, 45, Camby; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Melvin Lewis Johnson Jr., 26, Indianapolis; arrested on warrants for failure to appear in court; held on $1,000 bond.

William Richard Karnes, 48, Columbus; arrested on charges of possession of paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine; held on $4,400 bond.
