Retta L. (Parrott) Trinkle, 83, of Greenwood passed away on May 21, 2023, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. Retta was born on July 11, 1939, in Indianapolis to Sturman and Minnie (Wykert) Parrott. She was in the first graduating class of 1957 from Wood High School. Retta had worked for Citizens Gas Company, Riley Tire &Chemical Company, and finally she retired from Teamsters Local No. 135. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing cards, and was also an avid fan of Indiana University Basketball.
Retta is survived by her children Keith (Karen Lynn) Trinkle of Pell City, AL, and daughter, Mindi (Steven) Jones of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren Kyle and Robin Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Raymond and Ronny Parrott.
