Acorn Road and Oak Leaf Road: An officer reported at 5:08 p.m. Monday that during a traffic stop he smelled the odor of marijuana and after a vehicle search a man was issued a summons to appear for the possession of marijuana.
Personal-injury accident
11 a.m. Monday – Jefferson St. and West St. Tina Collins, 62, Franklin. Collins reported having pain and injury to her neck. Juvenile, 9, Franklin, reported having pain and injury to their face.

Theft
1751 N. Main St., Monroe Optical: Staff reported at 10:35 a.m. Monday that a license plate was stolen from one of their company vehicles.

48 N. Emerson Ave., Keller Williams: Reported at 6:17 p.m. Monday that criminal mischief had occurred.
1600 block of Corban St.: Reported at 7:18 a.m. Monday the attempted theft of a vehicle had occurred.

Thefts
1251 U.S. 31 N., Dick’s Sporting Goods: Reported at 8:48 p.m. Monday that a woman was arrested for theft.
900 block of Country Aire Drive: Reported at 3:24 p.m. Monday the attempted theft of a vehicle and the theft of ammunition had occurred.
1300 block of Kenwood Drive: Reported at 2:40 p.m. Monday that mail received from the USPS was missing or had been stolen.

Cory Daniel Vandegriff, 35, New Whiteland; also arrested on charges of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, interfering with public safety, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, reckless driving and refusal to identify self while stopped for infraction; held on $6,400 bond.
