JCCF to offer Professional Matters workshops

Johnson County Community Foundation will hold a Professional Matters Series in partnership with Aspire Johnson County.

The new series of workshops will be for professional advisors, business owners and community members.

These sessions will include an hour of networking starting at 8 a.m. followed by an hour of continuing education with Brian A. Eagle, attorney, educator, author and wealth strategy consultant.

The first session will be June 15 – Succession Planning, held at Indiana Wesleyan University, 1500 Windhorst Way, Greenwood. It will offer a look at ways to transfer a business and how you can help the business owner navigate the business succession planning journey.

The second session is Nov. 16 – Charitable Planning, held at Franklin College. It will provide insight to you and your clients about charitable planning and how to reduce income taxes on the scale of a business.

The cost is $45 per session and individuals can register at www.jccf.org/professional-matters-series-succession-planning.
