Hit and Run
2114 Sheek Road and Circle K: Reported at 4:13 p.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred and one of the drivers was issued a summons for operating a vehicle without receiving a license, operating a vehicle with expired license plate and the vehicle was impounded.
Personal-injury accidents
7:29 p.m. Wednesday – County Line Road and Emerson Ave. Erick Marquez, 34, Indianapolis. Marquez reported having pain and injury to his head.
5:37 p.m. Wednesday – W. State Road 135 and W. Stones Crossing Road. Paul Gaertner, 46, Greenwood. Gaertner reported having minor bleeding with injury to his face. Nicole Gaertner, 48, Greenwood. Gaertner reported having pain and injury to her shoulder/upper arm.

Thefts
1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 7:49 p.m. Thursday that a person was issued a summons for theft.
1251 U.S. 31 N., JC Penney: Reported at 4:10 p.m. Thursday that a Bria Blackburn was arrested for theft and another person was issued a summons for theft.
1100 block of O’Dell Lane: Reported at 12:04 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.

Narcotics
E. 150 S. and S. U.S. 31, Franklin: A deputy reported at 11:18 a.m. Thursday that during a traffic stop it was learned that the driver did not have a valid driver’s license and after a search of the vehicle a man was issued summons for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and his vehicle was impounded.
Tracey Jo Court and David Drive, Greenwood: An deputy reported at 10:10 a.m. Thursday that after a BMV inquiry on a vehicle, he conducted a traffic stop and while doing a search of the vehicle he found marijuana and a woman was issued summons to appear for possession of marijuana and citations for driving while suspended and no proof of vehicle insurance.
