Elva Louise (Walker) Woodmansee, 75 of Franklin, IN passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 1, 1947, in Batesville, IN to Raymond E. and Clara M. (Hardebeck) Walker. She married Donald Woodmansee on August 5, 1994; he preceded her in death on December 24, 2013.
She had been an assembler at Cummins for over thirty years.
Elva enjoyed crocheting, drawing, painting, gardening and mushroom hunting.
Survivors include her daughters Mia C. Merrick (Carl) of Franklin, IN, Tina J. Canada (Garry) of New Ross, IN and Sarah J. Herbert of Franklin, IN, her sons Joseph J. Whitehead (Lora) of Columbus, IN and Peter J. Whitehead of Franklin, IN, her sisters Claire R. Barron (Manuel) of Oyster Bay, NY and Nancy A. Patterson (Richard) of Indianapolis, IN and her brother Scott Walker (Barbara) of Brownsburg, IN, her grandchildren Sarah Appleby (Tony), Kyle Merrick (Emily), Shane Merrick (Hope), Jessica Whitehead, Katherine Hendrickson, Faith Heck (Justin), Elizabeth Hendrickson, Janelle Dillon (Daniel) and Azure Whitehead, great grandchildren Eric Appleby, Adler Appleby, Egan Appleby, Luke Dillon, David Dillon, Zenobia Dillon and Emily Dillon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Woodmansee, parents Raymond E. and Clara M. (Hardebeck) Walker and a brother Patrick J. Walker.
Services are private.
