GREENWOOD
Patsy J. Carter Shea Hulett of Greenwood, Indiana went to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 84 on July 6, 2023. She was born on May 4, 1939 in Columbus, Kentucky to Clarence and Ophelia (Frizelle) Carter. She was a secretary at RISE Learning Center for over 30 years. She was an active member of Northern Park Baptist Church where she faithfully served in the nursery for many years. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family (especially her grandkids), friends and neighbors. She will be remembered for her ever-present smile, unique, infectious giggle, kindness to all she knew and her servant’s heart.
She was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Ophelia Carter, her first husband, William Shea, her second husband, Darrell Hulett, her daughter, Kim Williams, stepson, Darren Hulett, and dear friends Rosie Rice and Marilyn Hendricks. She is survived by daughter Sue (Robert) Shea Pope, stepdaughter Terri Hulett Nelms, stepdaughter Pam Hulett Allee, grandchildren April Shea Rosner, Lydia Ault, Rob Pope, Shane Nelms, Ashley Pope, Ross Williams, Evelyn (Michael) Allee Auer, four great-grandchildren and her beloved cat, Django.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 from 5-7pm and Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 10-11am with a service following at 11am at Northern Park Baptist Church, 598 N. Meridian Street, Greenwood, Indiana 46143. Burial immediately following at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
