Barry and Beverly (McFadden) Whetstine of Franklin are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married on July 21, 1973, in Richmond, Virginia.
The couple have three children, Beth (Dave) Evers, Daniel (Anissa) Whetstine and Brooke (Matt) Childers and one grandson Tyler Lewis.
They are both retired. Barry retired from the US Navy and his own Engineering Consulting company and Beverly retired from the US Government where she worked for GSA, Social Security Administration and NASA.
They are celebrating with a trip to Table Rock Lake in Branson, with their children and a road trip from Los Angeles to Denver to visit National parks in California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado.
