Friendship Baptist Church in Franklin will start offering free monthly community meals on Monday.
The meals, with are dine-in only, will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the church, located at 1600 Westview Drive.
People are welcome to come to the church for the meal, which features a protein, vegetable, starch and dessert. Lemonade, tea and water will also be available.
Friendship Baptist Church joins a rotation of Johnson County churches offering free meals each month. Ten other churches across the county offer meals at various times during the month.
