The Johnson County 4-H and Agriculture Fair continues today in Franklin.

Here is a look at some of Wednesday’s highlights. The Midway opens at 5 p.m.:

Axe Throwing

When: 1 p.m. daily

Where: Northeast corner of Herring Hall

Glassblowing demonstration

When: 3-9 p.m. today

Where: West side of Fair Office

Moonlight Madness — Poor Jack Amusements

When: 6-11 p.m. today

Where: Midway

Cost: $30 for an Unlimited Ride Bracelet (weather permitting)

Gospel music

When: 6:30-10 p.m.

Where: Christian Music Tent, north of Scott Hall

Cost: Free

Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest

Who: Kids ages 5-10; with three classes

When: 7 p.m. today

Where: Farm Bureau back lot

Cost: Free entry

Truck & Tractor Pull

When: 9 p.m today

Where: Grandstands

Cost: Admission is $10; Pit Passes are $15
