Franklin

Criminal Mischief

2000 block of Dakota Drive: A man reported at 9:32 a.m. Wednesday that his video footage shows juveniles damaging three mailboxes in the area.

Hit and Run

500 block of Yandes St.: A man reported at 2:28 p.m. Wednesday that he had video of a van that backed into his parked vehicle then through his neighbor’s yard and did not stop.

Narcotics

N. Morton St. and Sloan Drive: A officer reported at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday that during a traffic stop for not having a license plate, the officers K9 alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. After a search of the vehicle the driver was arrested on several drug charges.

3:50 p.m. Wednesday – W. Jefferson St. and Uitz St.

12:49 p.m. Wednesday – N. Main St. and Highland Ave.

11:30 p.m. Tuesday – Yandes St. and Ohio St.

6:14 p.m. Tuesday – E. King St. and I-65 southbound exit ramp

3:20 p.m. Tuesday – Commerce Parkway

12:45 p.m. Tuesday – Oakleaf Road and Westview Drive

Hit and Run

E. County Line Road and N. Emerson Ave.: Reported at 6:46 a.m. Thursday that a hit and run had occurred.

850 S. State Road 135, Home Depot: Reported at 11:36 a.m. Wednesday that a hit and run causing minor damage had occurred.

Personal-injury accident

5:51 a.m. Tuesday – 1600 block of Fry Road. Mercy Thar, 33, Greenwood. Thar reported having pain and injury to her abdomen/pelvis.

Property-damage accidents

5:55 p.m. Tuesday – State Road 135 and Stonegate Drive

3:54 p.m. Tuesday – 707 S. Madison Ave., parking lot

Thefts

1251 U.S. 31 N., Greenwood Park Mall: Reported at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Sephora: Reported at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday that shoplifting had occurred.

Johnson County

Fraud

6400 block of Deerwood Court, Greenwood: A man reported at 3:02 p.m. Wednesday that he tried to make a purchase on Facebook Marketplace, after sending a deposit twice to the seller, they said they never received it and then blocked him from Facebook.

Personal-injury accident

11:58 a.m. Wednesday – State Road 252 and County Road 100 E., Franklin. Jackson Wise, 18, Bargersville. Wise reported having minor bleeding with injury to his knee/lower leg/foot. Tracy Truax, 59, Clayton. Truax reported having bleeding with injury to his head. Sunny McKay, 45, Lexington, Kentucky. McKay reported having pain and injury to her knee/lower leg/foot.

Theft

7000 block of S. County Road 500 W., Trafalgar: A man reported at 9:09 p.m. Wednesday that his license plate and registration had been stolen from his vehicle.

Michael D. Redmon, 59, Elizabethtown; arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of hypodermic syringe or needle and possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia; held on $3,400 bond.

Candice Monika Warren, 29, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of resisting law enforcement using a vehicle, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia and wanted on a Johnson County warrant; held without bond.

Christopher C. Scott, 34, Newburgh, New York; arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing; held on $1,250 bond.

Kelly A. McMahon, 48, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation violation; released on $500 bond.

Gary Shane Powers, 48, homeless; arrested on out of county warrants; held without bond.

Brad Allen Hummel, 46, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held without bond.

Evonne Nicole Lentz, 45, Nineveh; arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of stolen property; held on $2,000 bond.

Jeffrey Todd Rich, 60, Greenwood; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held without bond.

Casey L. Kappes, 34, Greenwood; arrested on charges of domestic battery and interfering with public safety; held on $4,000 bond.
