BEECH GROVE
Evelyn Mary (McAndrews) (Borland) (Schwab) Blocker, 79, of Beech Grove, Indiana, left us on July 23, 2023, from natural causes. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
Born on February 19, 1944. Evelyn was preceded by her parents, Lila Billy and Thomas B McAndrews, and her sisters Lucille Briggs, Loretta Hauck, Katherine Cody, Virginia Orr, and Barbara ‘Bobby’ Hallman.
She is survived by her husband Richard Blocker; children M. Dennis Borland Jr (Denise), Tammy Mason (Tim), Michael Borland (Holly), and Mary Borland; and two stepchildren, Raymond Blocker and Lianne Curry.
She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Dallas Borland, Jessica Mason, Jenna Maynard, Shawna Watkins, Richard Borland, and Georgiana Borland, and a host of additional grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Evelyn was born in McKean, PA and graduated from General McLane High School. Evelyn was passionate about her grandchildren. She donated her time at the local volunteer fire department EMT and Masons. And was an avid NASCAR fan.
