Clark makes minor league debut
Franklin graduate Max Clark, the Detroit Tigers’ first-round draft pick earlier this month, made his first minor league appearance on Saturday in the rookie-level Florida Complex League, batting third and playing center field in the FCL Tigers’ 11-3 loss to the FCL Yankees in Lakeland. Clark went 1 for 4, driving in a pair of runs with a triple and striking out twice.
After an off day Sunday, the team will be back in action today at noon against the FCL Blue Jays.
