Last day for tornado debris pickup in White River Township

Today is the final day for woody debris pickup following the White River Township tornado.

Tree removal contractors working for Johnson County will begin making their final pass for roadside woody debris pickup from the June 25th tornado within the unincorporated Local Emergency Declaration area, which includes impacted areas of White River Township.

In a message posted on the Johnson County Highway Department’s website, residents were encouraged to bring any remaining woody debris caused by the tornado to the roadside by Sunday to ensure it is picked up.
