Franklin

Criminal Mischief

1000 block of Graham St.: A man reported at 4:29 p.m. Friday that on three buildings he owns several windows had been broken, doors had been kicked in or damaged and a china cabinet had been smashed.

Hit and Run

1707 N. Morton St., Indy Smoke Time: A man reported at 7:42 p.m. Sunday that while inside the store that someone had hit his vehicle.

Nicole Drive and N. Morton St.: A man reported at 9:59 p.m. Friday that a red vehicle exited into the his lane and he could not stop and struck the driver’s side rear portion, the vehicle did not stop and fled north on U.S. 31.

Thefts

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Loss prevention employee reported at 5:52 p.m. Friday that a woman was holding a tag underneath her items while scanning so they would be a cheaper price than the original price and then tried to leave the store, she was issued a summons for theft and trespassed from the store.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Loss prevention employee reported at 4:15 p.m. Friday that a woman had swapped the UPC codes on three items and then tried to leave the store, she was issued summonses to appear for theft, forgery and trespassed from Walmart and Murphy Oil properties.

12085 N. Executive Drive, Tommy Hilfiger: An officer reported at 11:52 a.m. Friday that on I-65 near Whiteland they stopped a vehicle involved in a theft in Edinburgh.

500 block of Metairie Drive: Reported at 5:46 p.m. Friday that a burglary had occurred.

Criminal Mischief

2157 Stacie’s Way, FedEx: Reported at 5:09 a.m. Monday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Personal-injury accident

8:47 a.m. Friday – Madison Ave. and Fry Road. Mark Norton, 63, Indianapolis. Norton reported having pain and injury to his elbow/lower arm.

7:43 a.m. Friday – E. Main St. and S. Emerson Ave.

Thefts

2100 Village Crossing Drive: Reported at 6:13 a.m. Monday that a theft from a vehicle had occurred.

997 E. County Line Road, Smoker’s Paradise: Reported at 2:15 p.m. Sunday that a theft from a vehicle had occurred.

550 Fry Road, Kohl’s: Reported at 6:03 p.m. Saturday that a theft had occurred.

850 W. Stop 18, Freedom Springs: Reported at 3:21 p.m. Saturday the theft of a fanny pack had occurred.

1694 E. Main St., U-Haul Rental: Reported at 10:46 p.m. Saturday that a vehicle theft had occurred.

1100 block of Devonshire W. Drive: Reported at 12:34 p.m. Friday that a theft from a vehicle and a fraud had occurred.

Johnson County

Identity Theft

3000 block of Clubhouse Court, Greenwood: A man reported at 1:39 p.m. Sunday that someone without his permission opened a Verizon Visa credit card in his name and that other credit cards were attempted to be opened but were denied.

Narcotics

N. State Road 135 and Fry Road, Greenwood: An officer reported at 9:46 p.m. Saturday that during a traffic stop for an infraction they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and after a search of the vehicle marijuana was found in the driver’s backpack and he was issued two citations and a summons for possession of marijuana.

W. Jefferson St. and N. Morton St., Franklin: An officer reported at 12:59 a.m. Saturday that during a traffic stop for speeding they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and after a search of the vehicle a woman was issued summonses for possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and issued warnings for speeding.

W. County Line Road and N. State Road 135, Greenwood: An officer reported at 12:07 a.m. Saturday that during a traffic stop for an infraction the passenger was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia and the driver received a warning for improper headlights.

Theft

800 block of S. Morgantown Road, Greenwood: A woman reported at 7:37 p.m. Friday that her ex boyfriend came to her residence and stole her vehicle.
