Trojans sweep in Seymour

Center Grove’s Red and White teams separated themselves from the pack in Wednesday’s Seymour Invitational, finishing a comfortable first and second in the eight-team field with scores of 290 and 309 (New Albany was third at 386). Lexi Stuart was the individual medalist with a 6-under-par 67, followed by Camille Short at 72. Magnolia Miller and Ellie Adkisson each shot a 75, while Abby Rich and Maren Pfeifle both finished at 76 to tie for fifth overall. Rounding out the scoring for the second-ranked Trojans were Rowen Pfeifle (77), London Dodson (78) and Amanda Wallace (80).

Grizzly Cubs rout Falcons

Led by a 4-under-par 32 from Lexi Ray, No. 11 Franklin coasted to a 154-232 victory over Perry Meridian at The Legends. Reese Phillips added a 38 for the Grizzly Cubs, while Addie Livorno and Kara Heuchan each carded a 42.

Warriors defeat Cardinals

Chloe Cooper earned medalist honors with a 42 in Whiteland’s 194-215 win over Southport. Karley Hoagland added a 45 for the Warriors, followed by Kylie McGovern with a 50.
