Local religious leaders gathered with members of the public and Franklin schools during the annual Community Praise and Prayer Gathering on July 30.
The group came together inside the Franklin Community High School Center for Performing Arts for worship, prayer for the upcoming school year and comments from school leaders. Afterward, people fanned out across the school district to pray around the flagpoles at different Franklin schools.
