NINEVEH
Sarah M. Brewer, 94 passed away Thursday, August 3rd at Greenwood Meadows. She was a resident of Nineveh.
She was born November 28, 1928 in Sonora, Kentucky to Emmett and Thelma (Sullivan) Williams. They preceded her in passing.
She married William Brewer, Sr., November 21, 1946. He preceded her in passing on February 28, 2017.
Sarah is survived by her children, Don (Kathy) Brewer of Princes Lakes, William Brewer, Jr. of Nineveh, J.W. (Rita) Brewer of Franklin, Betty (Ron) Witcher of Greenwood and Brenda Brewer of Franklin; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is sister, Mildred Nalley of Indianapolis.
Sarah will be remembered by her compassion and devotion to her love of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed working outdoors in her garden and working with her flowers. She will be sadly missed by all.
Sarah was a member of the Nineveh Christian Church and the Nineveh Chapter #466, Order of Eastern Star.
Pastor Tom Knight will conduct a service on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin, Indiana 46131. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8th from 11:00 a.m. to time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. An Eastern Star service will be conducted on Tuesday prior to the Service. Burial will be at Nineveh Cemetery.
