Trojans second at Prairie View
No. 2 Center Grove placed second behind fourth-ranked Westfield in the 16-team field at Saturday’s State Preview tournament at Prairie View Golf Club, shooting a 323 to finish 11 shots back of the Shamrocks and three ahead of both No. 6 Zionsville and No. 1 Carmel. Camille Short paced the Trojans with a 77, followed by rounds of 80 from Rowen Pfeifle and Magnolia Miller and an 86 from Lexi Stuart.
Meanwhile, the Trojans’ White team was victorious at the Greensburg Invitational, winning on a fifth-score tiebreak after finishing deadlocked with Franklin at 315.
