NEW WHITELAND
Erma B. Wright (79) of New Whiteland passed away August 7, 2023. She was born March 14, 1944 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Walter and Clara (Mandrell) Perry.
She was the wife of Bennie Wright. He survives.
She is survived by one brother, Gerald Perry of Westmoreland, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Mary Boren, Ruth Harris, Bobby Perry, Jane Reed, and Junior Perry.
Erma has five children: Michael Wright, Melissa Coxey, Tony Wright, Billy Wright, and Angela Christ. She was a grandmother of seven and a great-grandmother of six.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 1:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home &Simple Cremation ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 11:00am until the funeral hour. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery on Morgantown Road, Greenwood, Indiana.
