Franklin Chamber launches campaign

The Chamber’s branding campaign, “Genuine Franklin”, is meant to convey a message about the authenticity, friendliness and trust within the greater Franklin community.

The campaign will be featured on the chamber’s website, social media channels, videos and signage and within other partner marketing efforts. Hats, shirts and other items featuring the slogan will be available to purchase online.

The campaign was developed by Clever Dogs Media, a Franklin-based marketing firm, and Maleta Schmidt of Crescent Creative, who engaged chamber leadership and community stakeholders in a branding process.

Franciscan named top hospital

Franciscan Health Indianapolis has been recognized as the top hospital in the state for bariatric surgery.

The 2023 Medical Excellence Award from CareChex is based on their comprehensive quality scoring system, that compares inpatient quality performance across general, acute and non-federal U.S. hospitals.

The analysis also places Franciscan Health Indianapolis among the top 100 hospitals in the nation for bariatric surgery.

Franklin College’s Dunigan recognized

Franklin College’s Senior Director of Advancement Services and Analytics Adam Dunigan was named one of Almabase’s 50 Under 50.

Almabase is an alumni management and fundraising platform. The recognition celebrates an exclusive group of advancement professionals at educational institutions and how their work has created value-driven relationships with alumni.

BAM announces promotions

BAMWX has promoted Vince Bryan to the position of Chief Operating Officer and Matt Griffin to Meteorologist-in-Charge.

Bryan has spent the last year and a half as the Meteorologist-in-Charge, managing the operation of the meteorology department of BAM Weather. Griffin previously served as a senior meteorologist and most recently assistant meteorologist-in-charge.

Upcoming Aspire Events

Join Aspire Economic Development and Chamber Alliance staff for the Mutual Savings Bank grand opening ribbon cutting on Aug. 17 from 11 a.m. to noon. The bank is located at 2812 S. State Road 135, Greenwood.

Aspire Coffee Connections is set for Aug. 15 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at MashCraft Brewing. The event is a free reception for Aspire members to meet other business leaders and learn networking tips, share ideas and solutions to common business challenges and opportunities and connect with Aspire Ambassador Team members.

Greenwood Tractor Supply is hosting a car show

Car enthusiasts are invited to come and enjoy one-of-a-kind automobiles. The event is tomorrow starting at noon to 4 p.m.

The event will give customers the chance to check out a handful of Greenwood’s most unique and interesting cars.

Participating event partners will include Tails and Trails Rescue.

This event is open to the public and will take place at 1460 U.S. 31 South.
