785 S. State St., Duncan Robertson Inc.: A employee reported at 9:22 a.m. Friday that they had sent out a check for over $22,000 to a corporation, but had received an bank statement about the check being cashed by a different payee without their permission.
Hit and Run
30 block of Edwards St.: A woman reported at 10:26 a.m. Sunday that her vehicle was hit while parked in the Kroger parking lot.
Personal-injury accident
6:22 a.m. Friday – U.S. 31 and Commerce Drive. George Vestal, 63, Indianapolis. Vestal reported having minor bleeding with injury to his entire body.

Theft
2219 N. Morton St., Lowe’s: Reported at 7:40 p.m. Saturday that a man had removed merchandise from the store without paying for it and fled the store. Later police located the man and during a traffic stop located all the merchandise, the man was arrested for theft and operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.

270 Marlin Drive, Texas Roadhouse: Reported at 10:08 p.m. Saturday that a man was arrested for battery with bodily injury.

600 block of Grassy Bend Drive: Reported at 2:19 p.m. Sunday the unauthorized entry of a vehicle had occurred.

200 Sunset Blvd., Calvary Baptist Church: Reported at 7:39 a.m. Saturday that a hit and run had occurred.

2600 block of Winter Hawk Road: Reported at 3:50 p.m. Sunday that an identity theft had occurred.

2200 Independence Drive, Kroger: Reported at 5:30 p.m. Sunday that a theft had occurred.
700 block of Wooddale Terrace: Reported at 4:22 p.m. Sunday that a vehicle theft had occurred.
895 S. State Road 135, Target: Reported at 7:30 p.m. Saturday that shoplifting had occurred.
895 S. State Road 135, Target: Reported at 12 a.m. Saturday that two women were arrested for theft and several other charges.

Burglary
4300 block of Fairview Road, Greenwood: A woman reported at 4:55 p.m. Sunday that another woman was inside her residence when she got home. The suspect left the residence and was walking down the street when she was detained by a deputy, she was arrested for burglary and several other charges.
Narcotics
W. County Road 200 N. and N. County Road 100 W., Franklin: Reported at 6:32 p.m. Sunday that during a traffic stop for speeding a deputy detected the odor of marijuana and during a search of the vehicle paraphernalia was found, the driver was issued a warning for the speeding violation and the passenger was issued a summons for possession of paraphernalia.
400 block of Leisure Lane, Greenwood: A woman reported at 11:26 p.m. Friday that she could hear people behind this residence on the railroad tracks and could smell marijuana. After officers searched the area they found four individuals in the thick wood line, when they came out one man said he had been smoking marijuana and he was issued summonses for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
6100 W. Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: Reported at 5:27 p.m. Friday that during a traffic stop for expired license plate and a search of the vehicle a man was issued a summons for possession of paraphernalia and three tickets for operating with expired plates, false and fictitious plates and operating with a expired license.
