New and expectant mothers are invited to the third annual Community Baby Shower in Whiteland Saturday.
The free event by Maternal and Child Health is 10 a.m. to noon at Grace Assembly of God/Indiana Diaper Source, 6766 N U.S. 31, Whiteland. During the event, there will be two “Talk to a Doc” sessions, where attendees can hear from and ask questions of Dr. Veronica Mosier of Windrose Health. The sessions are 10:45 a.m. t0 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., according to the Eventbrite entry.
The event will feature 19 different vendors who will provide resources. Car seat technicians will install a limited number of car seats during the event, and there will be snacks and giveaways from vendors.
Attendees also can enter to win a pack-and-play by watching a video on safe sleep and completing an online certification prior to the event. Attendees can present their certificates at the Healthy Families booth during the event to receive a pack-and-play.
Because car seat inspections are limited, attendees are asked to register on Eventbrite.
