Fraud
80 E. Jefferson St., Mutual Saving Bank: A employee reported at 1:02 p.m. Thursday that a man had attempted to cash a fraudulent check and had left the bank and was later arrested in Bargersville.
1124 N. Main St., Mutual Savings Bank: A employee reported at 3:47 p.m. Thursday that a check fraud had occurred.

900 block of Curlew Lane: Reported at 6:15 p.m. Thursday that a residential entry had occurred.
Thefts
1100 block of Bexley Drive: Reported at 2:34 p.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.
150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 2:43 p.m. Thursday that shoplifting had occurred.
1251 U.S. 31 N., Von Maur: Reported at 4:58 p.m. Thursday that two juveniles were arrested for shoplifting.
1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 6:04 p.m. Thursday that theft had occurred.

Christopher Ian Payton, 54, Terre Haute; arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of hypodermic syringe or needle, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia and possession of paraphernalia; held on $4,400 bond.
