James E. Price, 90, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully at home with family on August 19th, 2023. He was born on August 2nd, 1933, in Somerset, Kentucky.
James “Jim” retired at 80 after 57 years at Kennedy Tank &MFG. He also served in the National Guard.
James is survived by his wife, Mary A. Price; his daughters, Nancy (Clay) Whitaker, Sandra D. Cordell, Jennifer A. Nordsiek; his grandchildren, Charles and James Creasey, Katie and Corey Cordell, Andrew, Eli, and Cooper Nordseik; his sister, Imogene (Alvis) McCallister; his brothers, Willard (JoAnn) Price, Joe (Norma) Price, and Bob (Phyllis) Price. He is also survived by his loving dog, Sadie.
James is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard B. and Ina V. (Mize) Price; his sister, Mildred A. (Walter) Nicely; and his infant grandson, Jason Creasey.
There will be no services per James’s request. His final resting place will be in Somerset, Kentucky. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
