FRANKLIN
Wanda Lee (Adam) Greathouse, 83, of Franklin, IN passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born July 11, 1940 in Ripley County, Indiana to Willard and Verda (Surber) Adam. Wanda married Bobby Lee Greathouse on August 14, 1959 in Greensburg, IN; he preceded her in death on May 22, 2023.
Wanda was a 1958 graduate of Columbus High School.
She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed baking, canning and being a seamstress.
Wanda was a member of Franklin Pilgrim Holiness Church where she played the organ for many years.
She had also been a teacher’s aide for Bethel Holiness Church School in Columbus, IN and taught private piano lessons.
Survivors include her daughter Rhonda Martin (John) of Greenwood, IN and a sister Mary June Hern of Tallahassee, Fl.
Her parents, husband and a sister Norma Lou Irwin preceded her in death.
Pastor Tim Forsee will conduct a service on Friday, August 25, 2023 at 2:30PM at Franklin Pilgrim Holiness Church, 1000 Hospital Road in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at https:/youtube.com/@fphclive. Friends may call Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12 Noon until service time at the church. A graveside service will follow the church service on Friday at 4PM at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 3945 West County Road 1000 North, Westport, IN 47283.
