GREENWOOD
George Edgar Copeland, 88, of Greenwood, entered into eternal rest on August 20, 2023. He was born on November 26, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late Burl and Mary Ann Copeland. George enjoyed traveling, was an avid sports enthusiast, and a lifetime farmer. He proudly served two terms on the Clark Pleasant School Board.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Rose; along with his daughter, Mary Jo.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Copeland; children, Grace (Baron) and Art; step sons, Emmet and Tony; grandchildren, Jerad (Tiffany), Katie, Cole, Tyler, EJ, Nick (Daniela) and Tommy (Nicole); along with his great grandson, Dominick.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Little &Sons Funeral Home – Indianapolis, 4901 E. Stop Eleven Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46237. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery following the funeral.
