Warriors roll past Hawks

Whiteland picked up a 204-240 win over Decatur Central on Monday. Chloe Cooper was the medalist with a round of 49 for the Warriors, while Kylie McGovern and Karley Hoagland each shot 51 and Emma Gunn contributed a 53.

Grizzly Cubs win three-way

No. 9 Franklin was a winner over Columbus North and Greenwood, posting a team score of 181. Addie Livorno led the Grizzly Cubs with a 42, followed by Reese Phillips (43), Cassidy Rucker (47) and Emma Christoff (49).

Shepherd opens Q School with 69

Center Grove and Duke graduate Erica Shepherd opened the first stage of the LPGA and Epson Tour qualifying tournament with a 3-under-par 69 at Mission Hills’ Dinah Shore Course on Monday in Rancho Mirage, California. Shepherd had an eagle, three birdies and a double bogey on the day to land in a tie for 20th. The top 125 and ties after 54 holes will qualify for the final round, with the top 95 and ties then advancing to Stage II this October in Florida.

Braves remain unbeaten

Aaron Spurgeon won in three sets at third singles to help Indian Creek clinch a 3-2 victory at Owen Valley on Monday. Grant Dalton was a winner at second singles for the Braves (8-0, 4-0 WIC), while Trent Volz and Landon Sichting picked up a point at No. 1 doubles.

Grizzly Cubs sweep Eagles

Franklin swept Brown County, 5-0, with Reid Davidson, Nathan Neville and Colin Anderson all winning their singles matches in straight sets. Tyler Jones and Brady Tucker also won in two sets at No. 1 doubles, while Jaxson Doddridge and Chase Alyea did the same at No. 2.

Lancers clipped by Jets

Despite wins from Austin Brockman at first singles and Bailey Totten in the third spot, Edinburgh dropped a 3-2 decision against Hauser.

Cougars blank Shortridge

Greenwood Christian cruised to a 5-0 victory over Shortridge on Monday. Norah Herndon had two goals for the Cougars, while Sydney Waldron, Keira Goins and Izzy Cameron scored one apiece. Goalkeepers Kylie Clark and Ana Blow combined to maintain the clean sheet for GCA.

Woodmen defeat Falcons

Brooklyn Benefiel posted her second career shutout as Greenwood topped Perry Meridian, 4-0. Lizzy Metzger tallied a pair of goals for the Woodmen, with Lilly Rollings and Joelle Young adding one apiece.

Franklin falls in Columbus

Franklin suffered a 1-0 setback at Columbus East on Monday.
