Leadership Johnson County to host lunch and learn series

Leadership Johnson County is hosting six Lunch and Learn sessions from Sept. through May.

These sessions include a variety of topics and speakers in a one-hour, virtual format. These sessions are designed to help busy leaders stay connected.

  • Sept. 14 – Participating in and Leading Effective Meetings — Christi Walton will help the audience develop a clear and concise way to set the tone for effective meetings and boost psychological safety on the team.
  • Nov. 2 – Asking Good Questions — Dr. Kate Price will teach why questioning is an important leadership skill and how to choose the best questions to ask.
  • Jan. 18 – Wellness in Your Workday — Dee Woods will lead the audience through exercises they can do throughout the day to reduce stress and anxiety in the workspace.
  • Feb. 22 – High Performing Organizations — Wendy Pottgen will facilitate a panel discussion of leaders of high-performing organizations to learn what they do daily to foster their culture.
  • April 4 – Power Your Day with Microsoft 365 — Amanda Wilkerson will cover tips for optimizing daily workflow using tools that are already on the average computer.
  • May 2 – Finding flow: Change How You Manage and Improve Your Results — Dale Rebhorn will provide alternative ideas for communication with your teams without resorting to meetings.

The cost to attend each session is $20 per person or $100 for the entire series and will be held from 11 a.m. to noon via Zoom.
