Greenwood Plan Commission continued due to internet outage

The Greenwood Advisory Plan Commission was forced to continue their entire agenda Monday night because of internet issues.

In a unanimous vote, the commission voted 8-0 to continue all of the items on their agenda to their next meeting on Sept. 25. The commission was set to vote on primary plats from TMG Construction and LCS Development, respectively, along with landscape waiver requests from the city of Greenwood.

Due to city ordinances, the commission was required to hold the meeting with both in-person and Zoom options for public participation. Because the internet was out, they were unable to adequately hold a public meeting with a virtual option for the public to participate. So because of this, the meeting had to be continued.

The internet outage was caused when an internet cable was hit during work on a nearby construction project.
