Franklin

Forgery/Counterfeiting

936 N. Morton St., O’Reilly: A employee reported at 4:26 p.m. Saturday that a man tried to make a purchase using a counterfeit $100 bill, when they told him they do not accept big bills and he left the store, the employee say this has happened on two other occasion.

Personal-injury accident

3:47 p.m. Saturday – N. Morton St. and Commerce Drive. Brice Biszantz, 19, Bargersville. Biszantz reported having minor bleeding with injury to his elbow/lower arm.

Property-damage accidents

8:55 a.m. Sunday – 2100 block of N. Morton St.

1:16 p.m. Saturday – N. Morton St. and Schoolhouse Road

11:30 a.m. Thursday – 2625 N. Morton St., parking lot

Thefts

970 N. Morton St., Kroger Marketplace: A woman reported at 3:45 p.m. Sunday that her cell phone had been taken but did not notice until she got home.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: Reported at 3:19 p.m. Saturday that a man had stolen a vacuum cleaner from the store and was sitting a vehicle in the parking lot, when officers approached the vehicle the man refused to get out of the vehicle, officers had to remove him and he was arrested for theft and resisting law enforcement.

Criminal Mischief

1000 block of Fountain Circle: Reported at 6:25 a.m. Monday that criminal mischief had occurred.

Forgery/Counterfeiting

1251 U.S. 31 N., Sweet Ice Indy: Reported at 2:33 p.m. Sunday that counterfeiting had occurred.

1350 U.S. 31 S., Speedway: Reported at 1:01 p.m. Sunday that a counterfeit $50 bill was used overnight.

Fraud

700 block of Greenwood Springs Drive: Reported at 4:59 a.m. Saturday of an online scam of money had occurred.

Robbery

1700 block of E. Main St.: Reported at 7:20 a.m. Friday that a robbery had occurred.

Thefts

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 8:20 p.m. Sunday that a woman was issued a summons to appear in court for theft.

300 Marlin Drive, Menards: Reported at 1:32 p.m. Sunday that a theft had occurred.

100 block of Love Ave.: Reported at 8:45 a.m. Sunday the theft of a vehicle had occurred.

150 Marlin Drive, Meijer: Reported at 6:29 p.m. Saturday that shoplifting had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 6:11 p.m. Saturday that a woman was issued a summons to appear for theft and released from the scene and another woman was arrested for theft and was wanted on two warrants out of Marion County.

Narcotics

2418 W. County Road 900 S., Small Town Market, Trafalgar: Reported at 1:09 a.m. Sunday a deputy stated that he observed a woman slumped over in the front seat of a vehicle in the parking lot, after the deputy woke the woman and she exited the vehicle a smoking pipe was found with narcotic in it, she was arrested on several drug charges and transported to the jail.

Bluffdale and Wicker, Indianapolis: Reported at 1:45 a.m. Saturday that during the traffic stop an officer observed the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and a woman admitted to having marijuana in her sweatshirt pocket and she was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and a traffic citation.

4500 block of Southway Road, Greenwood: Reported at 10:52 p.m. Friday that a residential entry had occurred.

Anthony V. Doss, 41, Greenwood; arrested on charges of rape, aggravated strangulation, residential entry, battery, resisting law enforcement with prior convictions and possession of methamphetamine; held on $43,600 bond.

Sarah Paige Figert, 30, Muncie; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held on $300 bond.

Ryan Robert Goetz, 46, Greenwood; arrested on charges of residential entry (burglary/breaking and entering), criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana/hash oil/hashish/salvia and possession of paraphernalia; held on $5,200 bond.

Bruce Earl Goodwill, 60, Shelbyville; arrested on an out of county warrant; held without bond.

Anne M. Haines, 47, Bloomington; arrested on charges of possession of controlled substance-schedule I, possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia; held on $6,400 bond.
