EDINBURGH FALL FESTIVAL, today through Sept. 16, Main Street, Edinburgh

Fall is in full swing in Edinburgh, as the historic town kicks off its annual Edinburgh Fall Festival. The fun actually started Wednesday, but keeps on rocking today through Saturday. Enjoy dinner with the Edinburgh Lion’s Club from 4:30-7 p.m. today and Friday, then 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at 112 S. Walnut St. The carnival and midway will be open 5-10 p.m. today and 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

American Legion Post 233 will hold its fish fry from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, and the most adorable baby contest will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the downtown stage.

On Saturday, enjoy breakfast at the Edinburgh Presbyterian Church from 7-10 a.m. The “Fall in Love with Edinburgh” parade kicks off at 11 a.m., and the evening wraps up with music by the Brown 25 Band.

MASHCRAFT OKTOBERFEST, 5 p.m. Sept. 15, MashCraft Brewing, 1140 N. SR 135, Greenwood

Dust off your lederhosen and get ready to polka all night as MashCraft Brewing celebrates Oktoberfest in style. An outside beer garden will be set up at the brewery’s Greenwood location, where people can enjoy authentic German food and, of course, great local beer. Indy Polkamotion will provide all the oompah-loompah beats to keep you dancing. There is no entry fee, and families and pets are welcome.
