Whiteland asking residents to fill out comp plan survey

The town of Whiteland is asking residents for input as officials work on a new comprehensive plan.

The town is pursuing a $50,000 grant from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs to update its comprensive plan. This plan will set forth a vision and goals for Whiteland’s future.

As part of the application for the grant, the town is collecting information from residents via a survey about Whiteland and its amenities. The survey asks for opinions about the town and its future, such as what people like about Whiteland, what they may dislike and what they wish for the town.
