Leadership Johnson County hosting volunteer fair Wednesday

Leadership Johnson County is hosting a volunteer fair in Whiteland tomorrow.

The All Aboard Community Volunteer and Board Fair will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Auxiliary Gym at Whiteland Community High School, 300 E. Main St. The event is designed to connect youth and adults who want to volunteer with nonprofits that need them.

More than 30 nonprofits will be prepared to share their volunteer opportunities from committee and board positions to in-person and remote volunteer opportunities for both adults and teens, according to a Leadership Johnson County news release.

The event is sponsored by Whiteland Community High School and Yard Signs. It is free to attend for both nonprofits and community members, the news release says.
