Woodmen close with victory

Greenwood wrapped up its regular season with a 4-1 win over Shelbyville on Thursday. Noah Paswater, Carter Chatham and Ian Ratliff all took singles points for the Woodmen (14-8), with Carter going the full three sets for a 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (4) triumph. Dominic Soubeih and Nick Pruett added a victory at second doubles.

Grizzly Cubs top Pioneers

Reid Davidson and Nathan Neville earned three-set victories in the top two singles spots to help Franklin seal a 4-1 victory against Mooresville. Luke Sherry added a win at third singles, while Brady Tucker and Tyler Jones picked up a point at No. 1 doubles.

Lancers edged by Eagles

Edinburgh came up just short in a 3-2 battle with Brown County. Austin Brockman was a three-set winner at first singles for the Lancers, with Milas Burkman adding a win at No. 3 singles.

Trojans sweep Panthers

Sheridan Young pulled up her 1,000th career dig as Class 4A No. 8 Center Grove beat Bloomington South 25-20, 25-10, 25-11 on Thursday evening.

Lancers tame Tigers

Edinburgh got nine kills apiece from Zoey Sida and MacKenzie Bieker in a 25-18, 25-2, 25-20 sweep of Crothersville. Kyah Streeval had 37 assists and five aces for the Lancers, while Kenna Streeval led the back line with 16 digs.

Trojans fall against Millers

Despite goals from Ely Detty and Cameron Kraiger, Class 3A No. 4 Center Grove suffered a 5-2 setback at No. 1 Noblesville on Thursday. Detty and Matheus Gubert had assists for the Trojans.

Center Grove ties No. 1 Guerin

Sophia Gorall made six saves to help Center Grove finish in a 0-0 stalemate against Guerin Catholic, the top-ranked team in Class 2A, on Wednesday night.
