Franklin

Criminal Trespassing

57 N. Main St., Artcraft Theatre: Reported at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday that a employee of Franklin Heritage Historic Preservation Society group said that unknown persons had trespassed onto the property of the Artcraft Theater.

Disorderly Conduct

1139 N. Morton St., McDonald’s: Reported at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday that juvenile’s were in the bathroom in a physical altercation and then fled the restaurant.

Fraud

2801 N. Morton St., Police Department: A woman reported at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday that she was contacted by someone saying they worked with Chase Bank and that someone was trying to pull money from her 401k and the person instructed her to take a few withdrawals and buy Bitcoin and send it to them, she sent three transactions but only two went through as they were done internationally and the bank was unable to cancel them and she lost $6,000.

Narcotics

700 block of W. State Road 144: Someone reported at 11:29 a.m. Tuesday that a man was in someone’s barn and had taken a gas can and then got into a vehicle, the man was later was arrested for narcotics related charges.

87 Forest Road, nGroup: Reported at 8:28 a.m. Tuesday that a package with over 350 chocolate bars that contained psilocybin mushrooms had been returned and multiple employees were fired due to “indulging” in the mushrooms, the police collected the products to be destroyed.

Hit and Run

N. I-65 and E. Main St.: Reported at 6:49 p.m. Tuesday that a hit and run had occurred.

Thefts

1100 block of Anthony Court: Reported at 7:17 a.m. Wednesday that a theft had occurred.

713 Fry Road, Greenwood Smoke Shop: Reported at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday that a theft from the store had occurred.

1000 block of Blue Grass Parkway: Reported at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred at Clark Pleasant Middle School.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Chick Fil A: Reported at 12:46 p.m. Tuesday the theft of property from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Grail’s: Reported at 12:46 p.m. Tuesday that a theft had occurred.

355 Fry Road, Extra Space Storage: Reported at 12:32 p.m. Tuesday the theft from a storage unit had occurred.

Johnson County

Narcotics

E. King St. and N. Milford Drive, Franklin: A deputy reported at 1:11 a.m. Wednesday that during a traffic stop for a vehicle not having a license plate light he detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle, the passenger was issued a summons to appear for the possession of paraphernalia and they were released from the scene.

County Line Road and Shelby St., Greenwood: A deputy reported at 9:01 p.m. Tuesday that during an traffic stop he could smell the odor of marijuana and after a search of the vehicle he found a narcotics pipe and narcotic wax, the driver was issued a summons to appear for possession of marijuana.

Thefts

5000 block of Johnson St., Greenwood: A man reported at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday that he noticed his BMX bike, China cups, bowls and a vehicle battery had gone missing and that a woman had stolen them from his residence.

4000 block of Mahogany Drive, Greenwood: A man from a leasing company reported at 3:34 p.m. Tuesday that he arrived at a residence where the previous tenant had been evicted, to see want would need done to get the residence ready to be rented out and found that four kitchen appliances, six interior doors and a garden style bathtub had been stolen.

Timmy Lee Wilson, 42, Fort Wayne; arrested on a charge of contempt; held on $2,000 bond.

Danny Ray Gregory, 39, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of possession of paraphernalia; held on $1,250 bond.

James Beacher Day III, 33, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $350 bond.

Nicholas A. Dvorak, 26, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; held on $500 bond.

Jalen J. Bunton Lee, 18, Franklin; arrested on charges of domestic battery knowing in the presence of a child and strangulation; held without bond.

Amber Nicole Williams, 18, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of bond revocation and escape; held without bond.

Danielle Nicole Green, 38, Indianapolis; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $500 bond.

Tiffany Talbert, 34, Greenwood; arrested on a Johnson County warrant; released on $300 bond.

Callaway John Aranda, 22, address unknown; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with prior suspension; held on $1,000 bond.
