Rebecca K. Ayres

Rebecca Kay Ayres was born April 1st, 1962 in Crossville, Tennessee to Ralph and Helen Kay (Heiskell) Lee. She married Richard Ayres on June 1st, 2019 at Southeastway Park in New Palestine, IN, and he survives.

Rebecca was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, received her Bachelor’s Degree from God’s Bible School and College in Cincinnati, and her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.

She was a realtor for Century 21 for two years and a music teacher for over ten years. She played violin in the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic for thirty years and the Carmel Symphony Orchestra for twelve years. Rebecca was also an avid equestrian and was a stable hand in her younger years.

Survivors include her husband Richard Ayres, sons Robert Lee Hoffmann and Christopher Hoffmann, stepdaughters Ashley Comstock, Alexis Smith, and Brianna Sample, brothers Dan Lee and David Lee, sister Susanna Lee, six grandchildren, two nieces, and one nephew.

Her parents Ralph and Helen Kay (Heiskell) Lee, and her brother Jon Lee preceded her in death.

Services are private.
