Local license branches will have reduced hours effective Monday.
The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is changing the hours for branches statewide starting Oct. 2, including for the two license branches in Johnson County.
The Franklin branch, 1053 W. Jefferson St., Suite D, will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Currently, the branch is open Tuesday through Saturday with different hours.
The Greenwood branch, 349 S. Washington St., will be open Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The branch is already open on these days but the hours are changing.
Both branches will continue to remain closed on Sundays.
The BMV’s online Branch Map will reflect current hours until after close of business on Sept. 30 , officials say.
