Trojans roll into title match
Ely Detty scored four goals, helping Class 3A No. 3 Center Grove cruise to a 6-0 win against host Terre Haute South in a sectional semifinal match. The Trojans (13-2-2) will take on Bloomington South in Saturday afternoon’s sectional final.
Cougars survive sectional opener
Class A No. 6 Greenwood Christian escaped with a 3-2 victory over host White River Valley in sectional semifinal action on Wednesday evening. Bo Campbell and Caden Camden each had a goal and an assist for GCA (12-4), which will play Lighthouse Christian for the championship at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Class 4A No. 6 Center Grove dropped a marathon against visiting Tri-West on Wednesday, rallying from a set down twice before taking a 25-20, 16-25, 25-20, 25-27, 15-12 loss.
