Bradley Maurice Paddack

INDIANAPOLIS

Bradley Maurice Paddack, 58, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Monday, October 2, 2023, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis, IN.

Bradley was born June 17, 1965, to William and Sandra (Day) Paddack at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

He grew up in the home of his parents in Greenwood, IN graduating from Center Grove High School in 1983. He worked a year before enrolling at Ball State University, graduating in 1988, with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing.

He met fellow student Claire Marie Novotny at Ball State and they married on December 29, 1990. They were blessed with the birth of Samuel Ross on December 7, 1992, and Holly Rachel on June 2, 1994.

Brad started his working career in store management at 84 Lumber in Troy, Ohio. The last 25 years of his career were at EACI Inc. as a project manager in environmental remediation.

Brad took great interest in the activities of his children as they made their way through school and college. He pursued the hobby of gun collection and target range shooting. He also took up guitar playing and owned a number of instruments. He enjoyed his autos and either driving at road course amateur rallies or four wheeling in Utah.

Brad is survived by his children Samuel Paddack of Salt Lake City, UT and Dr. Holly VanDeman and son-in-law Zack VanDeman of Tampa, FL, his father William Paddack of Greenwood, IN, his brother Steven Paddack and sister-in-law Mary Breidenbach of Indianapolis, IN and his special friend Barbara Noble of Bargersville, IN.

He was preceded in death by his mother Sandra Helen (Day) Paddack, grandparents Maurice and Doris Paddack and Robert and Mary Day.

Pastor Jeff Buck will conduct a service on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN and will be live-streamed at www.swartzmortuary.com. Friends may call Friday, October 6, 2023, from 10:30 AM until service time at the mortuary. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
