Franklin

Hit and Run

U.S. 31 N. and Sloan Drive: A woman reported at 4:27 p.m. Wednesday that her vehicle was struck from behind by a white SUV driving at a high rate of speed and they continued driving north on U.S. 31.

Personal-injury accidents

3:29 p.m. Wednesday – N. Morton St. and International Drive. Scott McColpin, 63, Franklin. McColpin reported having pain and injury to his knee/lower leg/foot. Devonay Potter, 57, Bargersville. Potter reported having pain and injury to her knee/lower leg/foot.

7:30 a.m. Wednesday – State Road 44 W. and Drake Road. Juvenile, 17, Franklin reported having minor bleeding with injury to their face.

Thefts

2801 N. Morton St., police station: A man reported at 2:44 p.m. Thursday that his bicycle was stolen from his residence.

2125 N. Morton St., Walmart: A loss prevention employee reported at 10:41 a.m. Wednesday that a man entered the grocery doors, put a child safety seat valued over $300 in a cart and pushed the cart out the north doors, returned to his vehicle and fled the area.

1000 block of Ebony Circle: Reported at 5:15 Wednesday that a theft involving juveniles had occurred.

1139 N. Morton St., McDonald’s: A man reported at 6:23 p.m. Wednesday that his son’s bicycle was stolen while he was inside the restaurant.

Burglary

1000 block of Bexley Drive: Reported at 10:19 a.m. Thursday that a burglary had occurred.

5:40 p.m. Wednesday – N. Emerson Ave. and S. Park Drive

2:01 p.m. Wednesday – Main St. and Yorktown Road

Thefts

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 8:47 p.m. Thursday that shoplifting had occurred.

500 block of Pushville Road: Reported at 8:17 p.m. Thursday the theft from a vehicle had occurred.

1133 N. Emerson Ave., Walmart: Reported at 7:35 p.m. Thursday that a woman was arrested and released on a summons to appear for theft.

1000 Londonerry Lane: Reported at 4:26 p.m. Thursday that someone had stolen a dog from the residence.

1200 block of Beverly Place: Reported at 12:21 p.m. Thursday the theft of exterior trim from a construction site had occurred.

1251 U.S. 31 N., Von Maur: Reported at 12:08 p.m. Thursday that a woman was issued a summons for theft.

1000 block of Bexley Run: Reported at 8:06 a.m. Thursday that a theft had occurred.

Theft

1100 block of Hospital Road, Franklin: A woman reported at 4:49 p.m. Thursday that she had several packages stolen off of her porch.
